You shouldn’t eat them even if you happen to be really hungry… apart that it looks likes they are oversaturated (way too much water in the ground…) and rotting.
The snow is missing too, the ground should be frozen solid by now or a month and a half ago; it just rained some hour or so.
It’s about three months off., the season is round about three off-set (raining in December is… impossible! So January?). Three months early or three months late…
