Alaska’s celebrating ten years as recording artist and 13 Music helped in the festivities by releasing “Arctic foundations” a twelve-track album where Alaska steps up to the challenge of being the supreme protector of beats! This album is the natural continuation of the seminal “Virtual Virtuosos” album that was re-released by 13 Music’s mother label Vibez Recordings in 2005. Although it never actually got to the shops in 2000 when it was first scheduled to due to unknown reasons. And thereby sadly making it an non-release at the time. If you like drums and basslines, look no further because a decade of perfecting that particular combination can readily be found on both these superb releases! Do investigate because there’s an apparent risk that “Arctic Foundations” is going to be shamefully overlooked as well. Oh man Am I missing them good ol’ new days or what…
