A very good 4 track EP by the ever so talented Lusine, this time on the American label Ghostly International. The first track on the A-side bears the same name as the EP itself, that is, “Push” and it is yet another classic from Lusine, warm, exquisite beats programming and melody to die for. It is followed by “Haze”, which is also a very good track in fact all the tracks on the EP are, and I get the distinct feeling that Lusine on this 12-inch has reconnected with his musical past. The remaining three tracks are straighter and rougher than many of his latest releases, for example the full-length album “Iron City” on Hymen/Mad Monkey. However, the production is as good as ever and the tracks hold the quality and uniqueness that have made him known and respected throughout the electronic music scene.
